🐾 MEET JOSIE
Josie is a delightful little Jack Russell Terrier puppy with all the charm, curiosity and personality that make this breed so popular.
We should probably explain that Josie had been enjoying a rather enthusiastic romp in some muddy water just before her photo shoot, so she's not looking quite as pristine as she might! We've included a photo of her at eight weeks old, looking lovely and clean, just to prove that she scrubs up nicely
She's a bright, engaging little girl who is thoroughly enjoying discovering the world around her and has had a wonderful start in life.
🏡 WELL SOCIALISED
Josie has been well socialised from an early age and is comfortable with dogs beyond her littermates. She has also been exposed to children and cats, giving her an excellent foundation for life as a much-loved family companion.
Of course, continued socialisation and positive experiences will be important as she grows.
🧠 CLEVER & FULL OF CHARACTER
Jack Russells may be small, but they are intelligent, energetic little dogs with plenty of personality.
They generally love being involved in family activities and thrive on a combination of exercise, play, training and mental stimulation.
Josie will need a family who appreciates the lively, inquisitive nature of a terrier and is happy to keep both her mind and body busy.
🏡 JOSIE'S IDEAL HOME
Josie will be happiest in a home where she is genuinely part of family life, with plenty of companionship and opportunities to play, explore and learn.
She will need:
• Secure fencing
• Plenty of companionship and affection
• Regular exercise and play
• Positive, consistent training
• Mental stimulation and enrichment
Like all puppies, Josie will need patience, guidance and continued socialisation as she matures.
✂️ DEFERRED DESEXING PROGRAM
Josie will be adopted under ARK's Deferred Desexing Program. Her adoption fee includes the cost of desexing, subject to the terms and conditions of the program.
Her successful adopter will be required to sign ARK's Deferred Desexing Agreement, ensure that she is not permitted to breed, and have her desexed within the required timeframe in accordance with that agreement.
🚗 INTERSTATE APPLICATIONS WELCOME
ARK welcomes suitable interstate applications and is happy to assist successful applicants with transport options, quotes and the practical arrangements needed to get Josie safely to her new home.
