About Hazel SUA015715 & Olive rsta010298
Meet Hazel and Olive, two beautiful senior sisters who are looking for the perfect retirement home where they can enjoy their golden years together. These lovely ladies have spent their entire lives side by side and have never known life without each other. Their bond is incredibly special, so they must be adopted together. After all, everything in life is better when you have your sister by your side!
Hazel and Olive are quite shy when meeting new people or finding themselves in unfamiliar surroundings. They aren't the type to rush into making friends and would much prefer to take their time getting to know you and their new home. With a little patience, gentle encouragement and plenty of understanding, these sweet sisters will gradually find their confidence and allow their true personalities to shine through.
These gorgeous girls aren't asking for much in their retirement years. A warm, comfortable bed (or perhaps a few!), a peaceful place to relax and one or two special people to share their days with would be their idea of heaven. They have no interest in the hustle and bustle of a busy household and would love a quiet, predictable home without children or canines. Having spent their entire lives indoors, Hazel and Olive must remain indoor-only girls where they can continue to feel safe and secure.
If you have a peaceful home, a gentle heart and room for two beautiful senior ladies, Hazel and Olive would love to spend their golden years with you. They may take a little time to settle in, but the reward of giving these devoted sisters a loving retirement home will be something truly special. Two beautiful girls, one very special bond and twice the love to share!

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
