🐾 MEET ASPEN
Gorgeous little Aspen is the smallest boy in our beautiful Wildlings Litter, weighing 3.5 kg at six weeks.
His mum is our darling Stella, an exceptionally sweet, gentle and affectionate Kelpie who came into ARK care from the pound in the early stages of pregnancy.
Stella has a truly lovely temperament, and we couldn't have wished for a better mum for these puppies.
We don't know who Dad is, although our vet believes he's most likely a Border Collie. We expect Aspen to grow into an intelligent, active and affectionate companion.
❤️ A WONDERFULLY SOCIALISED PUPPY
One of Aspen's greatest advantages is the wonderful start he's had in life.
He's been raised in a loving foster home with four children, enjoying plenty of cuddles, gentle handling, playtime and all the activity of family life.
He's also grown up with the family's resident dog, Uncle Finny, and their cat, Uncle Fergus!
This valuable exposure to children, dogs, cats and everyday household life has given Aspen an excellent foundation for becoming a confident, well-adjusted family companion.
🏡 HIS IDEAL HOME
As a working-breed mix, Aspen will suit an active, loving home where he'll enjoy companionship, exercise, play and mental stimulation.
He'll need secure fencing, ongoing training and opportunities to use that clever little brain of his. Another friendly dog would be a bonus, although not essential.
Most importantly, we want Aspen to be a cherished member of the family, with indoor privileges and plenty of human company.
✂️ DEFERRED DESEXING
Aspen will be adopted under ARK's Deferred Desexing Program, must not be permitted to breed and must be desexed by 24 May 2027.
The cost of desexing is covered by the adoption fee, subject to the terms and conditions of ARK's Deferred Desexing Puppy Adoption Contract.
🚗 INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS WELCOME
We welcome interstate applications and can assist with transport advice, obtaining quotations and making arrangements.
💙 A LITTLE BOY READY FOR HIS OWN FAMILY
With his beautiful mum Stella, four devoted young puppy-handlers, Uncle Finny and Uncle Fergus, Aspen has had a wonderful start in life.
Now this lovely little fellow is ready for a family of his very own!
