MEET ARBOUR
Arbour is a lovely, friendly, outgoing little fellow who enjoys meeting people and being part of the action. With his happy, sociable nature, he's a delightful puppy with plenty of personality.
Arbour was born in ARK care to our darling Stella, an absolutely gorgeous, warm-hearted Kelpie who came to us from the pound in the early stages of pregnancy.
Stella has a particularly sweet, gentle and affectionate temperament, and we couldn't have wished for a lovelier mum for these puppies.
We don't know who Dad is, although our vet believes he's most likely a Border Collie. With those breeds in the mix, we expect Arbour to grow into an intelligent, active and affectionate companion.
A WONDERFULLY SOCIALISED PUPPY
One of Arbour's greatest advantages is his excellent early socialisation.
He's been raised in a loving foster home with four children, enjoying plenty of cuddles, gentle handling, playtime and all the activity of family life.
He's also grown up with the family's resident dog, Uncle Finny, and their cat, Uncle Fergus!
This valuable exposure to children, dogs, cats and everyday household life has given Arbour an excellent foundation for becoming a confident, well-adjusted family companion.
HIS IDEAL HOME
Arbour will suit an active, loving home where his friendly, outgoing nature will be appreciated and he'll enjoy plenty of companionship, exercise, play and mental stimulation.
As a working-breed mix, he'll need ongoing training, secure fencing and opportunities to use that clever little brain of his. Another friendly dog would be a bonus, although not essential.
Most importantly, we want Arbour to be a cherished member of the family, with indoor privileges and plenty of human company.
DEFERRED DESEXING
Arbour will be adopted under ARK's Deferred Desexing Program, must not be permitted to breed and must be desexed by 24 May 2027.
The cost of desexing is covered by the adoption fee, subject to the terms and conditions of ARK's Deferred Desexing Puppy Adoption Contract.
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS WELCOME
We welcome interstate applications and can assist with advice on transport options, obtaining quotations and arranging transport.
A HAPPY LITTLE BOY READY FOR HIS OWN FAMILY
With his cheerful, outgoing personality, the lovely temperament of his mum Stella and the wonderful care he's received from his foster family, Arbour has had a truly excellent start in life.
Now this gorgeous little fellow is ready to bring his enthusiasm, affection and puppy happiness to a family of his very own. ❤️
