🐶 Meet Leila – The Sweet & Gentle Companion! 💕🐾

Leila is a beautiful girl who has been settling into foster care wonderfully and is showing everyone what a lovely companion she is. She is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people. Wherever you go, chances are Leila will be following right behind! When it's time to relax on the sofa, she'll happily lie beside you or try to hop up and join you for some quality cuddle time. 🥰

This lovely girl enjoys her daily walks, whether it's a quick 20-minute stroll or a longer adventure of around an hour. Her favourite outings are trips to the park, where she can enjoy a good run and stretch her legs. 🌳🐾 She's also well-behaved around other dogs and children, remaining calm and friendly without barking at them.

Leila is toilet trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She's also learning to keep up her morning and evening toilet routine, and this has been going really well. Like many dogs adjusting to a new environment, she had a few accidents when she first arrived, but she's settled in beautifully since then. ❤️

Bath time is another thing Leila handles quite well! Although she might occasionally try to make a cheeky escape, she stays calm enough to get through her bath. She's also comfortable travelling in the car and has been very relaxed on the trips she's taken so far. 🚗

Leila isn't particularly interested in toys, although she may occasionally enjoy chasing a ball. Instead, she seems happiest spending time with her people, enjoying walks, exploring the outdoors and relaxing by your side. She already knows some basic commands, including sit, paw, no and come back, and her foster carer describes her as a very smart girl.

Leila may potentially be suitable for a home with cats, although this hasn't been tested yet. At the beach, she wasn't especially interested in going into the water, so swimming may not be her thing — but she's certainly happy to enjoy the outing with you! 🌊
