About Belle
Hi everyone! My name is Belle, and I'm a gorgeous chocolate and tan Dachshund with a whole lot of love to give and just enough attitude to keep life interesting!
I'm not even two years old yet, but I've already experienced quite a bit in my short life. I've even been a mum to a litter of puppies! Unfortunately, things didn't quite work out the way I deserved, and I found myself needing a new home.
That's all behind me now, and I'm ready to find a family who will love me for the rest of my days!
So, let me tell you a little bit about myself!
First things first, I'm a pretty easygoing little lady. My foster mum brought me home to what she describes as an absolute madhouse, and apparently I was supposed to find that overwhelming.Honestly? I don't see what all the fuss is about.
There are dogs everywhere, humans constantly coming and going, and enough activity to keep everyone on their toes. But I've taken it all in my stride and settled in like I've been part of the family forever.
I'm fantastic with other dogs and really enjoy their company, but I'm also a confident, independent little girl who would be perfectly happy being the only dog in the household. I don't need another dog to make me feel secure, although I'm certainly not opposed to having a furry sibling or two!
Now, we do need to discuss boundaries. I'm only little, but I have absolutely no problem telling another dog when they're being a bit too much! If someone's carrying on like an absolute pork chop and getting a little too boisterous in my personal space, I'll politely remind them to pull their head in.
Well, politely by Dachshund standards anyway! I'm not aggressive or looking to start trouble. I just appreciate a little respect, and I think that's perfectly reasonable!
My foster mum says I've been an absolute dream since arriving. I know my name, understand basic commands and haven't shown any concerning behaviours. I've adapted beautifully to everything that's been thrown my way, and I seem to have mastered the art of simply going with the flow.
I'm affectionate, confident, well mannered and have that wonderful little Dachshund personality that makes us so hard to resist.
What am I looking for in my forever home?
I'm not asking for much. Just a family who will love me, include me in their everyday lives and understand that bringing a dog home means making a commitment for life.
I'd be happy sharing my home with other respectful dogs, but I'd be just as content soaking up all the attention as an only dog. I would love a home where I'm treated as a genuine member of the family, not just a pet who happens to live there.
After everything I've already been through, I think I've earned a little stability, don't you? I'm still a young girl with so much life ahead of me, and I'm ready to spend it making wonderful memories with people who will never make me question whether I belong.
A little note from my foster mum: Apparently, I'm one of those dogs who makes you wonder how on earth I ended up needing rescue in the first place. I've been nothing but lovely since arriving, and while I'm sure I'll continue showing off more of my personality as I settle in, I've already made quite the impression!
So, if you're looking for a beautiful little companion who's adaptable, confident, affectionate and comes with just the right amount of Dachshund sass, I might be exactly who you've been waiting for.
I've already had one chapter of my life end unexpectedly. Now I'm looking for someone who will make sure my next chapter lasts forever. 🩷
Love,
Belle

Adoption Process
Please complete your adoption application in full and provide all required supporting documentation, including veterinary records for any existing pets and, where applicable, a copy of your current lease agreement with written permission to keep pets. Applications will not be assessed until all requested information has been received.
Applications are not approved on a first come, first served basis. Every application is carefully assessed to ensure the best possible match between the animal and their new home. We consider the individual needs of each animal, your lifestyle, experience, home environment, and ability to provide lifelong care. If we believe the animal you have applied for is not the right fit, we will happily work with you to find a more suitable match.
Cats are adopted as strictly indoor-only pets. They must not be allowed to roam outdoors under any circumstances. Secure outdoor cat enclosures or supervised harness walks are acceptable where appropriate.
Dogs will only be adopted into homes with secure, escape-proof fencing suitable for the size, breed, and needs of the individual dog. Applicants may be asked to provide photos or videos of their fencing and yard as part of the assessment process.
If your application is approved, your contact details will be provided to the animal's foster carer, who will contact you to arrange a meet-and-greet and, if suitable, a handover.
Prior to collection, you will receive an adoption agreement, copies of the animal's veterinary records, and payment details. The signed adoption agreement and full payment of the adoption fee must be received before the animal can leave our care.
We offer a two-week trial period to help ensure the adoption is the right fit for both you and the animal. If the adoption does not proceed during this period, the animal must be returned to our care. The adoption fee will be refunded less an administration fee, provided the animal is returned in the same condition in which it was adopted.
Our priority is placing every animal into a safe, loving, and permanent home. We reserve the right to decline any application if we believe it is not in the animal's best interests.
