Meet Manchego, a Staffy x boy with a big heart and so much love to give!

Manchego is a sweet little soul who loves being close to his people. Whether it’s soaking up cuddles, enjoying a play session or simply relaxing nearby, he loves being part of the family. He’s a pretty chill little guy for a puppy, with the usual puppy mischief thrown in.

He has a playful side but also appreciates his quiet time, and he’s already learning the importance of a good nap between adventures. His foster carer has been following a little routine of awake time and naps to help him settle, because even the smallest pups need their beauty sleep!

Manchego is currently living in a foster home with children and another dog, and he gets along well with his four-legged foster friend. He enjoys having a playmate, so a home with another friendly, suitable dog would be lovely, although he could also thrive as an only dog with the right family.

He can be a little shy at times so he’ll benefit from patient, gentle people who can help build his confidence as he grows. He’s still learning all about the big wide world, and with positive experiences, consistency and plenty of love, he has so much potential to blossom.

He’s working on his basic training and is already using a doggy door. He’s also experiencing all the usual puppy firsts, including his first shower which, he wasn’t exactly a fan of!

What Manchego is looking for:

A loving home where he’ll be included as part of the family.

A friendly canine companion would be a bonus, but it’s not essential.

A family with time for daily walks, playtime, training and mental stimulation as he grows.

Patient people who understand that puppies need consistency, supervision, toilet training and plenty of sleep.

A home that will help him build confidence and guide him through all the stages of puppyhood.

Manchego is still a baby, so he’ll need ongoing training, socialisation, guidance and lots of love to help him grow into the best boy he can be.
