About Zac
Zac is a clever, energetic boy looking for an active family who can keep up with his zest for life!
Zac will need plenty of exercise, enrichment and ongoing training to keep his mind and body happy.
Ideally suited to a property with room to explore, Zac is looking for a family who will give him the time, attention and stimulation he needs to thrive.
If you love the outdoors and are looking for a companion to share your adventures, Zac could be the perfect boy for you.
To learn more about Zac or to arrange a time to come and meet him, please contact our Shelter Manager, Yvette, on 0421 831 128.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
