Meet Ocean🩷
Ocean is a sweet, affectionate girl who would fit into almost any household. Whether you're a family with kids, a retired couple, an active duo or a single person looking for a loyal companion, she'll slot right in. She gets along beautifully with cats, other dogs and kids, and she's happiest when she's near her people. She's a champion cuddler who settles exceptionally well once it's time to relax.
Ocean lost a leg as a puppy, but don't let her three legs fool you! She hops into the car and onto the bed for a cuddle with ease, and she loves a run on the beach and a swim in the creek. She's equally happy as an adventure buddy for an active couple or a relaxed companion for a quieter lifestyle.
She walks nicely on the lead and already knows her basics, including sit, stay and a "pull up" stop command. She's food motivated and loves learning new tricks, so she'll shine with a bit of training. In foster care she's also discovering toys and enrichment activities, and she's taking to them well.
Ocean is a great listener, and she's got plenty to say too! She loves a chat at the end of the day, catching up with her person on everything that happened. Come home to a friend who's always keen to hear (and tell) all about it.
Ocean is currently on a healthy weight-loss plan with her foster carers, with plenty of exercise to help. Her new family can continue this together, which makes for great bonding time.
Ocean would love a furry friend! She adores company and gets along so well with other animals that we'd highly recommend a home with another dog or a cat to keep her company.
A new best friend for Ocean means double the fun for everyone.

~Work commitments/how long would I be left alone?
~Why do you think I would suit your family?
~As a working breed I will need lots of training, exercise & mental stimulation. How to do plan to meet those needs?
~ Have you done any training with other dogs? If so what training have you and your previous/current dog completed?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits, can you guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?

~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be required.
~Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties. A rates notice is required for homeowners.
~A vet reference may be required.
