Teddy

Teddy's journey hasn't always been easy, but this happy young boy is ready to leave his past behind and start a wonderful new chapter with a home of his own. Having recently celebrated his first birthday, Teddy is a handsome American Staffy with a big heart, an even bigger personality, and a lot of love to give.

Teddy came into our care when his previous owner could no longer provide the care and stability that an energetic young dog needs. Since arriving at the shelter, Teddy has won over everyone he meets with his cheerful nature and zest for life. He's the kind of dog who greets each day with enthusiasm and is always ready for his next adventure.

This playful boy loves to run, jump, and have fun. Toys are one of his favourite things, and he never says no to a game or an opportunity to show off his playful side. Teddy is also very food motivated, making him a fantastic candidate for ongoing training. With the right guidance and plenty of positive reinforcement, he's sure to thrive while building a strong bond with his new family.

During his time in our care, Teddy experienced some discomfort with his eyes. Thankfully, this was surgically corrected here at the shelter, and he has recovered beautifully. Now feeling comfortable and healthy, Teddy is ready to enjoy everything life has to offer.

Teddy is a big baby at heart who is looking for an owner who can provide him with the love, security, and commitment he deserves. He would be suitable to live with another friendly dog after a succesful meet at the shleter, and could happily share his home with teenagers aged 16 years and older.
