Meet Blinky!

Blinky is a handsome 3 year old boy who is finding the shelter environment a little overwhelming. He can be quite unsure in unfamiliar surroundings, so he'll need a patient and understanding adopter who is willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel safe.

The way to Blinky's heart might just be through food! He does seem quite inclined towards a tasty morsel, and delicious treats could be a great way to start building a bond with him and help him associate his new surroundings with positive experiences.

Blinky is FIV positive, which means he'll need to be an indoor only cat. Ideally, he would love to be the only cat in the home, where he can enjoy a peaceful environment and have all the comforts and attention to himself. With the right care and regular veterinary check-ups, FIV-positive cats can still enjoy a good quality of life and make wonderful companions.

Moving into a new home may take a little adjustment, but with a calm environment, a gentle approach and plenty of patience, Blinky should have the opportunity to settle in at his own pace and begin to build confidence. He'll benefit from having a quiet space to retreat to while he gets used to his new surroundings, without any pressure to interact before he's ready.
