About Abigail
Abigail is a little lady who knows her own mind! 😂❤️
Unlike her curious brothers, Abigail is an extremely independent and tough little girl. She came into care after a kind member of the public caught her, having had no previous human interaction. Understandably, she was extremely frightened and feral when she first arrived.
Three weeks later, she's settled a little, but she's still very wary of people. Abigail is the sort of kitten who may be better suited to a more independent lifestyle, and we think she could cope well in the right farm environment.
We're particularly interested in finding Abigail a suitable farm home, well away from busy roads and traffic, where she can have reliable food, shelter, veterinary care and a safe environment while living a more independent life.
That doesn't mean she isn't deserving of a chance to socialise, either! A very quiet, experienced home with someone home often and willing to work patiently with her would also be considered.
Will Abigail ever become a friendly, affectionate house cat? It's possible, but we simply don't know. We've seen feral kittens blossom into loving companions, but we need to be realistic about her current temperament and the possibility that she'll always prefer her own space.
We're looking for someone who will appreciate Abigail for who she is, rather than expecting her to become something she's not. ❤️
She's a tough little cookie who deserves a safe place to call home.
📩 Have a suitable farm or quiet home for Abigail? We'd love to hear from you!
