About Clancy
Clancy is proof that sometimes the sweetest little souls just need a bit of extra time. ❤️
Clancy came into care after a kind member of the public caught him. Having never had any human interaction, he was extremely frightened and feral when he first arrived.
Three weeks on, we're starting to get a glimpse of the curious little boy hiding behind all that fear.
Clancy is incredibly inquisitive and loves watching what you're up to. He's interested in everything you do, enjoys playing and will even let you get very close to him. He's happy to engage with you from a distance, but hands-on affection is still a little too much for him at this stage.
He's not ready for pats just yet, but you can see that curiosity is there. With patience, consistency and time, we think he has the potential to become more comfortable with human contact.
Of course, we can't promise that Clancy will ever become a cuddly house cat, but we'd love to find him someone willing to give him that opportunity.
We're looking for either a quiet home with someone home often who is prepared to work gently on socialising him, or a suitable farm home well away from traffic, with reliable food, shelter and ongoing care.
Clancy doesn't need someone to rush him. He just needs someone who understands that trust is earned, not forced. ❤️
📩 Could you give this sweet, curious boy the time he needs?
