About Garfield
Meet Garfield, a very sweet and sensitive gentleman who is looking for a loving forever home. He’s quite reserved at first but with patience, love and some tasty treats, Garfield warms up quickly. Once comfortable, Garfield transforms into a lovable *almost* lap cat. He enjoys sitting on the couch next to his favourite human, giving them gentle headbutts in the hope of getting some chin scratches or some tasty treats!
Likes: Chilling with friendly cats, sunbaking, chin scratches and treats.
Dislikes: loud noises, sudden movements, busy environments and dogs.
BACKGROUND
Garfield came into care after being dumped at a colony in an industrial site.
IDEAL HOME
Garfield is a mature boy who is easily frightened. As such, he needs a calm, loving and patient indoor-only home with older children or adults.

Medical notes
Garfield has received a full dental with extractions. No further treatment is required.
Adoption details
We have a very thorough adoption application and process. This is to ensure the best homes for our rescues who have had a rough time on the streets of Sydney or have been abandoned by their previous humans. Our priority is to keep them from further trauma or mistreatment.
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Complete an adoption form at https://form.jotform.com/210689154188060
2. Phone interview with adoption coordinator
3. Meet and greet with your selected cat/kitten at your home
4. Adoption trial (2 week period)
5. Confirm adoption and complete microchip transfer
