About King Kartal Kardashian-Knowles
Meet His Royal Highness King Kartal Kardashian-Knowles. Yes, that is his full legal name, a majestic mash-up inspired by Beyoncé and Kim K, but simply Kartal once you’ve been granted access to the inner court. This 1.8-year-old black-and-white royalty is seeking loyal subjects
This handsome little gentleman is a true nonchalant little king: playful, smart, confident, extremely photogenic, and overflowing with sass.
Kartal began life as the only black-and-white kitten in a stray litter and has been cherished since he was about a month old. His previous person loved him deeply but, with an increasingly hectic schedule of university, work and travel, realised they could no longer provide the consistent companionship and attention a king of his caliber deserves.
The decision to rehome him was made purely out of love, choosing his quality of life over the heartache of keeping him when time was short.
In foster care the young monarch took roughly a week to fully settle (even kings need a moment to inspect the new palace), but once he found his confidence it was non-stop purrs, cuddles, smooches and socialising.
Kartal is incredibly affectionate and people-oriented… on his own royal terms. He loves claiming laps, burrowing under the blanket, sleeping pressed against his chosen human, and following you from room to room like a velvet-clad shadow. At the same time he is fiercely independent and knows exactly what he wants.
He enjoys leisurely outdoor strolls to hold court with the neighbourhood birds, exchange pleasantries with local cats, and survey his kingdom from the windowsill.
Amazon boxes are treated as temporary thrones, random household objects become royal entertainment, and he has one particularly regal quirk: when he decides a conversation has gone on long enough, he simply turns and walks away mid-sentence. No explanation. No apology. Just pure, unbothered Kartal energy.
He can be quite vocal when the royal kitchen is running late or when boredom sets in, but otherwise he is a calm, content companion who balances closeness with healthy independence and thrives as both an indoor and outdoor cat.
The ideal palace for King Kartal is a loving, patient home with someone who appreciates a cat that wants to be involved in daily life - following, snuggling, supervising - while also respecting his need for space and autonomy.
He is not a constant lap fixture, nor is he aloof; he is a perfectly balanced little monarch who will love you fiercely and still maintain an air of mild superiority. Most importantly, he needs consistency, attention, and to be treated as the treasured family member he is.
If you’re ready to serve a photogenic, sassy, soft-hearted king who will fill your home with both deep affection and hilarious independence, His Royal Highness Kartal may just grant you an audience.
King Kartal Kardashian-Knowles is approximately 1.8 years old, has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is located with his amazing foster family in Dandenong.
Please get in touch if you believe you can offer this magnificent boy the devoted, stable kingdom he deserves.
About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help

We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
