About Isla
Isla is a sweet but shy older girl with lots of love to give. While we don't warm up immediately with new people, given some time and patience, we become a cuddly, loving girl! Isla enjoys bum scratches the most, and does enjoy occasionally sitting in your lap and having some quiet time with you. While she is a senior girl, she still loves to play, both with her person and on her own.
Isla has lived with another dog and cat, and could possibly go to a home with either in it, as long as introductions are managed slowly and carefully. She would prefer a quieter home, and could go to a home with older children as long as they aren't too noisy and respect her space, pending a meet and greet on site.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
