MEET LANCELOT — A BOY WHO JUST WANTS SOMEONE TO LOVE (AND A BALL… DEFINITELY A BALL )

This gorgeous boy is looking for someone to give all that love of his to.
You might notice Lancelot’s fur is a little patchy right now. Before coming into our care, Lancelot spent around nine months living in a cage. That’s a long time for any dog, and because Lancelot couldn’t tell anyone how he was feeling, he found his own way of coping — licking at his fur. Combined with some skin irritation, it has left him with a few patchy areas.
But those patches don't define Lancelot.

What REALLY defines Lancelot?

BALLS. BALLS. BALLS.

This boy LOVEEEEES them! And if it squeaks? Even better. He can become hilariously laser-focused on his toys and absolutely loves having someone to play with.
More than anything, Lancelot would love a human who is home often and can give him the attention, affection and activity he deserves. After spending so much of his life confined, this boy deserves to know what it feels like to truly be part of a family.
Other dogs? Lancelot could happily live with another playful dog who enjoys having fun but also understands boundaries.
Cats? He doesn’t mind them! Mostly, he just thinks they’re VERY interesting and would quite like to know what these strange little creatures are doing.
And your bed?
Well… Lancelot has already decided that’s probably his too.
Turn your back for a second and you may find him sneaking up onto it, hoping that if he looks cute enough, you’ll let him stay and sleep beside you.
If you're a strict “no dogs on the bed” household, though, don’t worry — Lancelot will accept your terms and conditions… as long as there’s a BIG, comfy dog bed waiting for him.
Lancelot has already spent far too much time watching life from inside a cage.
Now he deserves to live it.
He deserves toys scattered around the house, games of fetch, comfy beds, adventures, cuddles and a human who looks at him and says:
“You’re home now, Lancelot.”
Could you be that person?
Please share Lancelot’s story and help us find his forever home.
