He’s brave, resilient, and always up for an adventure—though he might briefly pause his busy schedule to keep an eye on that scary vacuum cleaner. 😉
Don't let his high-speed antics fool you, though—this little guy is a total cuddle bug! The second you speak softly or offer a chin scratch, Anchovy transforms into a purring motorboat. He’s a total "velcro" kitten who insists on getting as close to your face as possible, usually snuggling right into the crook of your neck. When he’s off-duty, you can find him napping on the bed in a cozy sunbeam or curled up in his favorite cat-tree hammock. ☀️💤
Anchovy’s Ideal Home:
Anchovy has a big personality and a lot of play in him, so he requires a home with another playful cat who can be his wrestling partner and partner-in-crime! He adores all treats, wand toys, and any form of human affection you’re willing to give.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
