Draven

Draven might be sporting a slightly unusual haircut right now, but give him a little time and this handsome boy will be back to his fluffy best.

He arrived with a wound on his left hip that needed treatment, so most of his coat was shaved to help with his care. The good news is that the wound has now healed well, and all that's left to do is wait for his beautiful fur to grow back.

Personality-wise, Draven is an absolute sweetheart. He's friendly, chatty and loves being around people, often greeting you from the front of his enclosure with his tail up and ready for attention. Once the pats start, so does the purring, and he seems to have quite the impressive little motor.

At only one year old, Draven has plenty of life and fluff ahead of him. As his longer coat grows back, regular brushing will help keep it looking its best. For now, he just needs someone who can appreciate the very cute in-between stage and see the gorgeous cat he already is underneath it.

We encourage you to come and meet Draven at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold.
