Meet Abel, one of the nine beautiful puppies in our Bell Litter — a happy, placid and playful little fellow with a lovely, easy-going nature.
At 4 kgs at six weeks of age, Abel is a little smaller than some of his bigger brothers, but he's still expected to grow into a good-sized dog.
Abel also has a cute little stumpy tail, just like some of his brothers, and it certainly adds to his charm!
❤️ A LOVELY FAMILY TEMPERAMENT
Abel is one of those puppies who is simply easy to get along with.
He has been very well socialised in his foster home, growing up alongside his brothers and sisters and enjoying plenty of handling, affection and interaction with his foster family.
He's a happy, confident and playful little fellow, always ready to join in the fun without being overly boisterous or demanding.
With his placid, good-natured temperament and easy-going approach to life, Abel is a cheerful, well-adjusted puppy who should fit beautifully into family life.
🏡 ABEL'S IDEAL HOME
Abel would be particularly well suited to a family looking for a friendly, affectionate and easy-going dog to share their lives.
He will need secure fencing, plenty of companionship, opportunities for play and exercise, and a family committed to continuing his training and socialisation.
His happy, tolerant nature makes him a particularly appealing prospect for a family with children, provided interactions are appropriately supervised and everyone understands the needs of a growing puppy.
🐾 ABOUT THE BELL LITTER
There are nine puppies in the litter — seven boys and two girls — born to their lovely young mum, Bell (pictured).
Bell is a sweet-tempered Bull Arab girl, quite small for her breed. She has been a gentle, attentive mum and has passed on her lovely nature to her babies.
We suspect the father may have been a Boxer or Bulldog. Several of the boys have naturally stumpy tails and brindle patches, and some are developing into quite substantial puppies. However, without confirmed parentage, this remains our best assessment rather than a certainty.
✂️ DEFERRED DESEXING
Abel is offered for adoption under ARK's Deferred Desexing Program, with desexing to take place when age appropriate in accordance with his adoption contract. The cost of desexing is included in the adoption fee, subject to terms and conditions.
🌏 INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS
We welcome interstate applications and are happy to assist with suitable transport options, quotes and travel arrangements. Distance need not be a barrier to the right home.
