Meet our gorgeous girl, Honey 💕 — a sweet, happy-natured French Bulldog who has so much love to give.

Honey absolutely loves people and much prefers the company of her humans over other dogs. She is a clever and loyal girl who loves being close to her people and being involved in whatever they are doing. Her humans are her world, and she simply thrives on their attention and companionship.

Honey is still an active girl and full of life. She enjoys running around the backyard, having fun with her favourite toys and making the most of her day. She also walks well on a lead, making her a lovely companion for walks and adventures.

Honey does, however, like to have her own personal space. She doesn’t appreciate other dogs getting too much in her face and would prefer not to share her home with another dog. She can also be protective of her food around other dogs.

For this reason, Honey is looking for a home where she can be the only dog and have all the love and attention to herself. 🥰

Honey has been around poultry and has had no problems with them.

She absolutely loves raw carrots and apples and enjoys a nutritious diet consisting of:
🐾 Royal Canin kibbles
🐾 Cooked chicken with vegetable & rice or pasta.

Honey has also already had her BOAS surgery, helping her breathe more comfortably.

More than anything, Honey is looking for a loving family who will cherish her, give her plenty of attention, and make her feel like a truly loved member of the family.

She has spent enough time in her past simply getting by. Now it’s her turn to have a family who will love her unconditionally and give her the wonderful life she deserves. ❤️

4. Do you currently have any other animals living with you?
If so, please provide details about each animal, including their species, age, breed and personality, and how they generally interact with other animals.

5. Do you have previous experience with this animal’s breed?
If not, have you done thorough research into the breed, including its temperament, exercise needs, grooming, training and potential health requirements?

6. Are you familiar with the long-term responsibilities of dog ownership, including training, socialisation, exercise and ongoing care? Are you willing to give your new pet the time, patience and support she needs to settle into her new home?

7. How many hours will your new pet be left alone on a typical day? Who will be responsible for caring for her during your working hours, absences, holidays or other periods when you are unable to be with her?

8. Are you financially and practically prepared to provide your new pet with quality veterinary care, preventative healthcare, grooming and nutritious food throughout her lifetime?

9. Will your new pet be considered as a member of your family and primarily live indoors, with appropriate access to a secure backyard/outdoor area? Please describe where your new pet will sleep and how she will be accommodated overnight.

10. If your circumstances change in the future and you are no longer able to care for this animal, do you agree to contact PFPRI and seek our assistance before making any arrangements to surrender or re-home her?
