Kayla

Kayla is a two-year-old mini pinscher with a playful, affectionate nature waiting to come out once she feels safe. She loves attention, enjoys a good play, and has a knack for leaping up onto the couch so she can be close to her people. When she’s comfortable, Kayla is happy and bouncy, and very much enjoys a cuddle.

Kayla can be fearful when meeting new people, so she’ll need a patient home that gives her time to build trust without rushing her. Once she knows you, she’s a loving and entertaining little companion who enjoys being included in everyday life. She may bark when someone arrives at the door, but settles with reassurance. A quiet retreat of her own is helpful when visitors are around.

Kayla is dog social and enjoys the company of other dogs. She is currently on ongoing anti-anxiety medication, so her adopter will need to be comfortable continuing that as part of her care. Kayla will need secure fencing that’s both jump-proof and dig-proof.
