About Becky
Meet Becky, a gentle, easy-going senior girl who is looking for a loving long-term foster home where she can enjoy her golden years.
Becky is fully house trained and has wonderful house manners. She loves her daily walks, especially the "sniffari" variety where she can take her time exploring the world through her nose. She is gentle on lead and happily trots alongside her person. Once she's had her exercise, Becky is perfectly content to spend the rest of the day relaxing on the couch, by your feet, or soaking up a patch of sunshine.
With her calm and affectionate nature, Becky would be best suited to a home where someone is around most of the time, as she enjoys companionship and being close to her people.
This grand lady has excellent bladder control and prefers to save her toileting for her morning and afternoon walks. After dinner, Becky settles down for a full night's sleep and happily snoozes until morning, although there may be the occasional gentle snore!
Becky currently takes medication to help manage arthritis, including Gabapentin twice daily and Loxicom once daily. Since adding Rose-Hip Vital to her evening meal, she has been moving much more freely and is no longer showing signs of stiffness. She also takes Fluoxetine once daily to help manage anxiety. Because of the meds she is fed am/pm.
At approximately 25kg, Becky may need assistance getting in and out of higher vehicles such as SUVs.
If you're looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion who enjoys leisurely walks, quiet company, and plenty of relaxation time, Becky could be the perfect addition to your home.
❤️ Becky is ready to find a caring foster family who will give her the comfort, companionship, and love she deserves.
