Trixie

Trixie is a two-year-old Jack Russell with a lovely mix of playful energy and affection. She enjoys being around people and other dogs, and once she feels at home, her happy, bouncy personality really shines. She loves a game, will happily jump up on the cpuch to be near you, and is always pleased to settle in for a cuddle. She’s the sort of dog who likes to be part of what’s going on and won’t be shy about asking for affection.

Trixie can take a little while to warm up to new people. A gentle approach and the chance to get to know someone at her own pace help her feel secure. She may bark when someone comes to the door, but can settle with reassurance. Having a quiet room or cosy spot where she can retreat when visitors are over will help her relax. She’ll need secure fencing that’s both jump-proof and dig-proof as she's quite the adventurer!

Trixie is dog social and can enjoy the company of other dogs. She’ll do best with adopters who understand that a new home and new people may take a little getting used to, and who will give her time to settle in and show her affectionate, fun-loving nature.
