Meet Fred!

Fred is a cheeky little boy who is always in play mode. It doesn't matter how big, friendly or enthusiastic the other party is, Fred wants to play with EVERYONE!

His love of wrestling and chasing can get a bit rough at times, but he's a tough little guy and, with a few gentle reminders from his foster siblings, he's learning to play nice. Fred would thrive in a family with another friendly young cat, but he'd be an entertaining addition to a one-pet home too.

Toys hold his attention for a little while, but Fred always prefers living playmates. If the attention drifts away from him for too long, he'll dive on your phone and try to wrestle it out of your hands. It's the funniest thing! 😂

Fred also loves to be held and bounced like a baby. While watching TV, he'll sweetly tip his head backwards to look up at your face. And then there's the purring: make eye contact or say a few words to Fred and he'll instantly start up his amazing, rumbling purr.

Fred is a barrel of fun who will keep your family well and truly entertained. Could you be his forever home?

* If you already have pets in your home, a slow and gradual introduction is a must, to ensure your pets and your new kitten have the best chance at a successful integration.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation at a STAR approved vet clinic at 6 months of age (we will provide more info on the sterilisation process to adopters).

*Fred may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee. Please enquire for more information.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a STAR Adoption Enquiry Form via the link above. You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork to you beforehand. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, STAR will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.

Please ask us for more information on arranging sterilisation of your pet if you live outside the Bunbury area.
