Xanadu

Xanadu, affectionately known as Zanny, is a gorgeous little girl who really does tick all the boxes! She adores people young and old, gets along beautifully with other dogs and is a wonderful companion who quickly settles into a routine. She sleeps peacefully through the night and is generally a quiet girl, only barking when something catches her by surprise.

Zanny is incredibly smart and eager to please. She already understands more than a dozen words and became familiar with her foster carer’s routine within just two days. She even recognises animals on the television and may bark at them — a very clever girl who clearly takes her TV viewing seriously!

She loves a cuddle beside you rather than sitting on your lap and enjoys being close to her people. When she wants attention, she has an adorable way of letting you know — she will bring you a slipper, not to chew, but simply to show you that she would like some attention!

Zanny would be ideally suited to a loving home with an older adult or couple who can enjoy her company, take her for regular walks and continue to give her the love and attention she thrives on. A home where children or grandchildren visit would also be lovely for her. She is an affectionate, intelligent and adaptable little companion who has plenty of love to give.
