Velvet

The beautiful Velvet found herself living pregnant and living on the streets. She managed to find a safe place to have her babies with a family who cared for them as long as they could. Then her family was passed over to the rangers where they could then enter the carer of SAFE.

2 of her babies were adopted together before they were even advertised, now it's just Velevt and Voodoo left looking for their homes. Velvet has now finished feeding her babies and we're giving her a little time to rest before she's desexed. No more babies for her! Once she's desexed she'll be ready to join a family of her own.

Black cats are often overlooked for multiple reasons, but Velvet is a real beauty! She's a fluff ball with the cutest squishy face and we really hope someone will adopt her soon and love her like she deserves.

She is not shy in the slightest and will walk into any new home Luke she's always been there. She loves pats and attention and just wants a comfy home to retire in. So far she hasn't been the biggest fan of the resident cat, but that may be due to having her babies with her when she arrived. She'd be more than happy to join a home as an only cat, but could possibly go to a home with an existing cat if there is a slow introduction.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
