About Matthias
Meet Matthieu! Matthieu is a sweet and gentle boy who can be quite shy and slow to warm up in new environments. He appreciates having the time and space to settle in at his own pace, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his affectionate nature truly shines. Matthieu loves spending time close to his people, whether that's curled up beside them on the couch, relaxing on the bed, or enjoying gentle pats and attention.
While he has occasional playful bursts, Matthieu is generally a relaxed cat who enjoys a calm lifestyle and the company of his family. With patience and understanding, he forms strong bonds and becomes a loving, loyal companion. Matthieu is ready to find a home where he can continue to build confidence and share plenty of affection with his new family. 💙🐾
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
