About Star 🌟
Meet Star, a gentle yet resilient feline who is ready to embrace a new chapter in her life. Star's journey has been unique, and it's filled her with a quiet grace and strength that's observable by those who take the time to get to know her. Despite her early experiences, coming from a crowded household, she has learned to trust and even adore the warmth and companionship of others.
Star loves finding sunshine as well as napping in cozy spots throughout the home. She's a mountain climber of sorts, always choosing a cat tree or a high shelf as her observation post. Over time, she has developed a love for toys, engaging in playful moments that reflect her developing sense of fun. Star also finds comfort in sleeping on the bed near her human companions, making her gently affectionate presence known.
While she is unphased by respectful dogs, Star truly thrives in the company of a feline friend. We recommend accommodating her with vaccinated cats due to her past bout with cat flu. The ideal home for Star would be a calm and stable environment, which would allow her to truly shine without unnecessary stress.
For someone who appreciates a cat with a graceful resilience and a newfound zest for life, Star is a wonderful choice. Embrace this lovely girl, and you'll find a loyal companion who brings tranquility, warmth, and delight to your home.
Medical notes
Star has recovered from Cat-flu - may remain a carrier and develop active symptoms in periods of stress or her immune system is compromised.
Star has been tested for FIV and Fel-V - Negative for both.
Star self-harms - currently on steroid tablets every second day and will need to monitor her progression. Star has shown wonderful improvements and a reduction in pulling out fur or excessive grooming has been achieved. Vets are confident when she settles into a committed home she will able to be weaned off her medication.
