Meet Ox - A Gentle Giant in the Making!

Meet Ox, a beautiful 6-month-old boy with a heart of gold who is slowly discovering that the world isn't such a scary place after all!

Ox arrived at the shelter alongside his four siblings after being surrendered into our care. All five puppies were understandably quite frightened and shut down when they first arrived, unsure of their new surroundings and what life had in store for them.

But with plenty of patience, kindness and TLC from our team, these gorgeous pups have come such a long way, and Ox is no exception!

While he's made some wonderful progress, Ox is still a little on the timid side and can take some time to feel comfortable in new situations. He's not quite the bold, boisterous puppy you might expect, but underneath that shy exterior is a beautiful, gentle boy with so much potential.

Ox would love a home with people who understand that confidence doesn't happen overnight. He'll need a family who can offer gentle encouragement, positive experiences and plenty of reassurance as he continues to find his feet.

He could also benefit from living with a calm, mature and confident canine role model who can help show him the ropes and teach him that life can be pretty wonderful!

Ox could happily join a family with dog-savvy children who understand that he needs a gentle approach. He's not looking for an overly loud or chaotic household, but rather somewhere he can feel safe, supported and loved.

At just 6 months old, Ox still has so much growing, learning and exploring ahead of him. With the right family by his side, we believe this lovely boy will continue to blossom into a happy, confident and much-loved companion.

Ox might need a little extra time to find his courage, but we have a feeling that once he does, he's going to have a whole lot of love to give!
