Nemo

Nemo is a lovely example of why first impressions in the shelter don't always tell the whole story.

When she first arrived, this young ginger girl was tense, cautious and unsure of everything happening around her. Even then, she was curious enough to sniff treats and tolerate gentle handling.

Over the following days, Nemo started to relax. She began approaching for slow pats, gently tilting her head into affection and showing more interest in the people around her. Most recently, she has been described simply as very friendly, which is such a nice change from the worried little cat who first came through our doors.

Nemo is only one year old, healthy, and still has so much ahead of her. She would benefit from a calm home where she can settle in at her own pace and continue building on the confidence she has already gained. With a gentle approach and a little patience at the beginning, there is every reason to believe her sweet, social side will keep shining through.
