Gillie

Gillie is a young mum who is more than ready for a little attention of her own.

She came to us as a stray with four kittens, and now that she's done the hard work of raising her little family, her affectionate personality is really starting to shine.

Gillie can be a little cautious when someone first approaches, but she doesn't stay distant for long. She'll come to the front of her pen, rub against the sides, accept treats and lean into gentle pats once she feels comfortable. Before long, the purring starts, the tail goes up and she's happily moving towards you for more attention.

She's a lovely, people-focused girl who clearly enjoys affection and being involved. After everything that comes with motherhood and shelter life, Gillie is ready for a home where she can finally relax, be spoiled and enjoy having the attention all to herself.

We encourage you to come and meet Gillie at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold.
