Meet Lucy
Underneath a little spice is a sweet, loving girl who just wants cuddles and to feel safe.
Lucy was a much-loved pet whose world changed when her owner could no longer care for her. She hasn’t always had the luxury of being a pampered indoor kitty, and we suspect she has had to fend for herself outdoors at some stage.
After some difficult experiences with other cats, she is very scared of them and can be defensive, so making feline friends hasn’t exactly made it onto her list of things to do.
Lucy can give off a tough exterior, and when the world gets too much, she can lose her nerve and put up her protective boundaries. But her foster mum has slowly earnt her trust, and after a couple of weeks of calm affection the darling girl hiding underneath has come out
Turns out Lucy is secretly a very cuddly lap cat, loves to be involved, and will follow her person from room to room. She is also very playful, but her toys had best beware, because Lucy plays to win.
We think Lucy would be happiest as an only cat, with someone who can let her settle at her own pace. Once her family gain her trust, they will be rewarded with a best friend for life.
Lucy will only be adopted as an indoor cat to keep her safe.

How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
