Meet Irvine,
Weighing in with endless enthusiasm, a cheeky attitude and personality to fill an arena... IT'S IRVIIIIINE! This young superstar is bold, bright and bursting with energy, with a zest for life that deserves its own entrance music. Irvine is a confident, outgoing boy who takes most things in his stride, although he hasn't quite mastered the rulebook when it comes to manners - but he tries! He's clever, curious and occasionally likes to test the ropes - but hey, every rising champ must start somewhere!
Irvine is still working on his signature moves - jumping and getting a little mouthy are part of his repertoire - but he's quickly working out that these moves aren't allowed in the ring. Behind all that excitement is one seriously clever little brain. You can practically see the cogs turning in his noggin as he watches, learns and figures things out.
He'd be best suited to someone experienced with young, energetic dogs who can provide consistent training, positive reinforcement and plenty of opportunities to keep that busy brain working. He's got the potential - he just needs a good coach in his corner!
When it comes to tag-team partners, Irvine has shown plenty of enthusiasm for meeting other dogs and could enjoy the company of a well-matched friend. As he grows into a big, strong boy, ongoing training, positive socialisation and appropriate handling will be important to help him develop into a well-mannered adult.
Irvine might need a little more coaching than your average rookie, but he's got the brains, confidence and personality to make every training session worthwhile. He's looking for someone who can match his enthusiasm, appreciate his cheeky side and help him channel all that energy in the right direction. With the right person in his corner, Irvine has every chance of becoming a heavyweight champion in the good-boy division!

Post Adoption Life:
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
