Meet Peal, the biggest boy in our beautiful Bell Litter — and a particular favourite with his foster mum, who affectionately calls him “Bruiser”.
At 5 kgs at only six weeks of age, Peal was already a wonderfully chunky puppy and is expected to grow into a substantial dog. Add his sensational markings and he is going to be one very handsome fellow.
❤️ A SENSATIONAL TEMPERAMENT
As impressive as Peal looks, it is his temperament that has really won over his foster mum.
He is easy-going, confident without being pushy, fun without being frantic, and remarkably placid for a young puppy. Despite being the biggest in the litter, he is not a bully with his brothers and sisters and is wonderfully tolerant and good-natured with them.
Peal is simply a delightful boy — comfortable in himself, friendly and very easy to like.
🏡 PEAL’S IDEAL HOME
Peal will need a home prepared for the large dog he is likely to become, with secure fencing, plenty of companionship and people committed to continuing his training and socialisation.
His relaxed confidence and tolerant nature should make him a lovely family companion, provided his new family is ready to give a growing large-breed puppy the guidance, exercise and inclusion in family life that he will need.
🐾 ABOUT THE BELL LITTER
There are nine puppies in the litter — seven boys and two girls — born to their lovely young mum, Bell (pictured).
Bell is a sweet-tempered Bull Arab girl and quite small for her breed. She has been a gentle, attentive mum and has passed on her lovely nature to her babies.
We think the father of the litter may have been a Boxer or a Bulldog. Several of the boys have naturally stumpy tails and brindle patches. They are developing into quite substantial puppies, which fits with Boxer/Bulldog influence. As we have no confirmed parentage, however, this remains our best assessment rather than a certainty.
✂️ DEFERRED DESEXING
Peal is offered for adoption under ARK’s Deferred Desexing Program, with desexing to take place when age appropriate in accordance with his adoption contract. The cost of desexing is included in the adoption fee, subject to terms and conditions.
🌏 INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS
We welcome interstate applications and are happy to assist with suitable transport options, quotes and travel arrangements. Distance need not be a barrier to the right home.
Big, beautifully marked and blessed with a sensational temperament, Peal is one of those puppies who is very hard not to fall for.
His foster mum certainly has.
