🐾 Hi, I’m Oreo!

I’m a sweet, playful and curious girl who loves being part of whatever my people are doing. Whether we’re playing together, heading out for a walk or just relaxing at home, I’m happiest when I know my family is nearby. I’m affectionate, gentle and love a good pat – and once I’m comfortable, you’ll often find me choosing a spot close to you for a snooze. 💕

I’ve spent time living in foster care, so I already have some experience with home life. I can settle and entertain myself with toys, although I’m still a young, curious girl and sometimes I think household items look just as fun to chew! Giving me plenty of appropriate toys, chews and enrichment will help keep me busy and out of mischief. 🧸

I love having the best of both worlds, so my new home will need indoor and outdoor access. I enjoy being inside where I can be part of family life, but I also love heading outside to run around, sniff, explore and play. My outdoor area will need secure fencing so I have a safe space to enjoy all my backyard adventures. 🌿🏡

Walks are another favourite of mine! Sometimes I’m happy cruising along beside you, while other times I can get excited and pull ahead. I’d love to keep working on my lead manners with lots of rewards and encouragement. Busy roads can be a little overwhelming for me, so I may appreciate quieter places to explore while I build my confidence.

I’m also a social girl when it comes to other dogs. 🐶 I’m usually very keen to make friends and sometimes I can be a little enthusiastic about keeping the interaction going! Because every dog is different, I’ll need to meet all dogs I’ll be living with before adoption so we can make sure we’re comfortable together and our personalities are a good match.
