Meet Cotton!

Cotton is a happy-go-lucky, social young girl who is ready to find a family that will embrace her fun-loving personality and include her in all aspects of daily life. She thrives on companionship and would love a home where she can spend quality time with her people each and every day.

Being part of the family is important to Cotton, and she is looking for a home where she can be welcomed indoors and included in adventures, outings, and everyday activities. She loves being around her people and will make a wonderful companion for an active family who enjoys having their dog involved.

Cotton is eager to please and enjoys learning. She will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training in her new home, with clear boundaries and consistency to help set her up for long-term success. As a young dog, she is still developing her skills and manners, and ongoing training will be a great way to strengthen her bond with her family while keeping her mind engaged.

Playtime is one of Cotton's favourite parts of the day. She loves toys and enjoys interactive games with her people. While she hasn't quite mastered the game of fetch yet, she is always keen to play and explore. Plush squeaky toys and tennis balls are amongst her favourites, and her new family will have plenty of fun discovering what other toys she enjoys.

Cotton is also very food motivated and loves enrichment activities. Snuffle mats and lickimats are particular favourites, and she would benefit from having her meals fed through a variety of enrichment options such as puzzle feeders, slow feeders, and food-dispensing toys. These activities will help keep her mentally stimulated while providing a positive outlet for her energy.

Cotton may be suitable for a variety of family situations. She can become excited when meeting new people but generally manages her enthusiasm well. Families with children are encouraged to bring them along to meet Cotton so everyone can get to know each other and ensure they are a good match.

She must meet any resident dogs prior to adoption. Cotton can be enthusiastic and eager when greeting other dogs and may initially come across as excitable. Once introductions are complete, she often shows a more submissive side before settling into play. She enjoys social interactions with other dogs and can become quite bouncy, playful, and energetic when she's having fun.

With her affectionate nature, playful spirit, and eagerness to be involved in family life, Cotton is sure to bring plenty of joy, laughter, and companionship to the lucky home that welcomes her.
