About Musi
Meet Musi, a gorgeous little 3-year-old tabby-and-white girl who may be tiny in size but comes with maximum confidence, sass and charm. A petite package with a big personality.
Musi was deeply loved by her previous person, but after getting married they moved into a new home that simply wasn’t suitable for her. A house with two big dogs just was not safe for little Musi, so they made the tough decision to reach out to us for help finding her a new home.
She arrived in foster care just a few days ago and after only a couple of hours of strategic hiding under the bed (very understandable), she emerged all purrs, cuddles and curiosity. The very first day she was up on the couch giving her foster mum head boops. Her foster family are already completely smitten.
Once Musi feels settled she is pure sweetness, affectionate, loving and full of personality. She is a proper little smoocher who enjoys being near her people, happily accepts neck rubs, and will never, ever say no to food.
Don’t let her petite frame fool you. Musi has the confidence, cheek and self-assurance of a much bigger cat. She is very smart, loves a good game with a teaser toy, and is fully aware of just how adorable she is. When she’s not busy being charming she is usually found sleeping in the coziest spot she can claim or quietly supervising the household.
While she loves a cuddle she isn't a big fan of being picked up and held for long periods of time. Like most cats, brand-new environments can make her a little anxious at first and loud noises can cause her to run for cover. Give her time and she settles beautifully, she has already adapted to three different homes and lots of different people.
She has always been an only cat, so we’re not yet sure how she would feel about other pets. And she may be a little too sassy for really young kids, who don't understand boundaries and body language, but older kids who can appreciate her quirks will be fine.
Musi would do best in a relatively calm home where she can be the star of the show, with patient people who appreciate a smart, affectionate little character who shows her love on her own terms.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, sassy, food-motivated smoocher, who will fill your home with purrs, play and quiet companionship, Musi could be the perfect match.
Musi is approximately 3 years old, has been desexed, vaccinated microchipped and is located with her amazing foster family in Rosebud.
Please get in touch if you think you can offer this gorgeous girl the loving home she deserves.
About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help

We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
