About Boomer
Meet Boomer! Boomer is a confident, affectionate and curious cat with a big personality! He isn't afraid to ask for attention when he's comfortable and loves being involved with his people. Boomer is an enthusiastic climber and absolutely adores his cat tower. He also enjoys his zoomies and has been known to launch himself around the room, showing off some impressive parkour skills!
Boomer loves cardboard boxes, socks and, most importantly, food-he is very food motivated! His playful and energetic nature means he will thrive in a home that can provide plenty of environmental enrichment and appropriate outlets for his energy.
Boomer is comfortable being handled, but his adopters will need to learn and respect cat body language. His new family should also be prepared to manage his destructive side with patience and enrichment.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
