Percy is one of those cats who doesn’t just want a home, he wants his person.
He is an incredibly loving, affectionate boy who absolutely lives for pats, cuddles and being close to you. He follows his foster carer from room to room, and the second she sits down, Percy has decided that her lap is exactly where he belongs.

He’s also a little chatterbox. As soon as he hears his carer's voice he looks for her and will call out to her. He really does love having that connection with someone.

He’s generally gentle and curious with other cats and takes his time approaching them. He’s even started playing with the other cats recently, which has been so lovely to see. He can get a little possessive of his favourite person, though. On one occasion another cat tried to join him for cuddles while he was on his carer's lap and Percy made it very clear that particular cuddle session was already booked!

Dogs are not his favourite. He will hiss at them even through the window, although he is slowly getting more comfortable as he realises they can’t actually get to him.

Percy was under the weather after his major dental surgery and recovering from anaemia, but with some new meds he's got his energy back and has returned to his normal self. Seeing him perk up, play with the other cats and start enjoying himself again has been beautiful.

He really is such a loving boy. Percy would be perfect for someone who wants more than a cat who happens to live in their house. He wants to be your little shadow, your lap warmer, your conversation partner and, most importantly, your best mate. 🤍

Whoever Percy chooses as his person is going to be very, very loved.
