About Rosie
Introducing Rosie, a charming silver dapple Dachshund whose vibrant personality shines as brightly as her unique coat. Born on June 15, 2021, this delightful little lady has already mastered the art of walking gracefully on a lead and generally responds well to being called. With her inquisitive and outgoing demeanor, Rosie is always ready to explore the world around her. Though she can be selective in her canine companions, her enthusiasm for play is unmatched. Rosie is 4.8kg.
When it comes to humans, Rosie is the true definition of a people-lover. She won’t hesitate to jump up to garner your love and attention, craving pats and kisses as her preferred currency of affection. Her dachshund curiosity and intelligence often come into play when encountering new friends—both human and furry. While she's a bit choosy with dogs, it’s reassuring that she's shown little interest in chasing the household cat, making her adaptable to various living situations.
Rosie is an ideal fit for an individual or family ready to embrace her zest for life. A home with an appreciation for her quirky yet loving nature will be rewarded with loyalty and boundless affection. If a feisty but affectionate canine companion sounds like the perfect addition to your life, Rosie might just be the furry friend you're looking for!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
