About Walder Grey
Meet the one, the only- Walder Grey.
While Walder Grey is not as horrible as the GOT character he's named after (or as old) he is a big ball of fun and quirkiness.
Seriously, this cat is special. He is hilarious. He demands attention, smacking your hand to get it, has the quirkiest meow that he likes to use regularly and is always getting up to some side quest or strange activity. He is so easy to love and gives his love so freely and in abundance.
Walder will need a special home that understands his needs and all of his quirks. He gets overstimulated easily and can feel conflicted with handling. While he will beg for your scratches and cuddles, he can quickly decide he's had enough even if he is smooching all over you. He will need a home that understands how to handle cats that get overstimulated and look for the signs for when he has had enough, so he doesn't have to tell you himself. Consent based handling will be your best friend with him, letting him show you what he wants and when he wants to move on.
Walder Grey would do best in a home with older kids/ adults, as younger children may not be able to respect his space and boundaries, leaving him stressed and uncomfortable. In the right home, he is going to do so well.
If silly, goofy and slightly unusual cats are your jam, look no further than our Walder Grey.
Walder Grey is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment.
