About Peanut
Meet Peanut, the charming Dachshund with a lovely temperament who will steal your heart in an instant. Born on March 17, 2021, this sweet little boy weighs just 6.4 kilograms, making him the perfect little buddy to accompany you throughout your day.
Peanut is incredibly affectionate and would be happiest as a loyal shadow to his human companion. He enjoys nothing more than being by your side, whether you're on a leisurely walk or simply relaxing at home. On his leash, Peanut showcases excellent behavior and is known to come when called most of the time.
This cuddly little man is also wonderfully social with smaller dogs. Friendly and approachable, Peanut is a joy to have in the company of other small breeds, although he can be a bit shy around larger dogs. His love for companionship shines brightly, and he's always ready to snuggle up for a comforting cuddle session.
Peanut would be an ideal addition to a loving household that cherishes his delightful presence and sweet nature. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will cherish every moment by your side, Peanut is eager to become your perfect little pal.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
