About Wayne
Wayne is possibly one of the most affectionate dogs I’ve ever met. At around 40kg, he is a big, goofy cuddlebug who just wants to be your shadow and soak up as much love and attention as possible.
He is incredibly friendly with people and loves getting pats from everyone. He has also shown he is good at being independent and has no issues with being left alone. He is house trained and walks well, although he can be strong at times and would benefit from someone continuing to work on his lead manners and training.
Wayne is also a really quick learner and already knows how to sit, lay down, shake and stay. He is eager to please and I think with some consistency and continued training, he could learn so much more.
Wayne has been around children without showing any aggression, but because he is a big, energetic boy who sometimes forgets his size, he may be better suited to a home without very young children. We haven’t been able to properly assess him with other dogs or cats yet due to his recent desexing and needing to be kept quiet.
Wayne is a big, goofy, loving boy with so much love to give. I think he would absolutely thrive with someone who is willing to put the time into continuing his training and helping him learn some boundaries. He doesn’t need to be perfect, he just needs someone who will give him the guidance, consistency and love he deserves.
