Terrance is a beautiful, gentle soul who may need a little time to show you just how special he is. 🥹🐾
When you first meet him, Terrance can be a little shy and reserved. He’s the kind of boy who likes to take things at his own pace and quietly figure out that you’re someone he can trust. But once he feels comfortable, something truly lovely happens — Terrance comes out of his shell and reveals the sweetest, most affectionate boy. 💕
And oh, does this boy love a cuddle! 🥰 Terrance is an absolute cuddle bug who adores being close to his people. Once he knows he’s safe, he’ll happily soak up all the affection you’re willing to give him.
There’s something so rewarding about earning the trust of a shy cat, and Terrance makes every little step feel incredibly special. Watching him go from a quiet, cautious boy to a loving little cuddle companion is guaranteed to melt your heart. 🥹💙
Terrance is looking for a patient and loving family who will give him the time and reassurance he needs to settle in. In return, they’ll get the most beautiful, gentle boy who just wants to feel safe, loved and close to his people. 🐾💗
Our adoptable cats are indoor-only to keep them safe, healthy and happy. We ask all adopters to provide a secure indoor home where their new companion can thrive.
For all cats under 12 months old, Rocky Roads Rescue has a strict, no single kittens adoption policy. Solo adoptions will only be permitted if specified in the cat's profile.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
