Dusty | An eager hello and a heart full of love

Dusty likes to make an entrance, preferably followed by a hello, a lick and some attention! This affectionate, playful boy is located in Hedland and is looking for a loving home through SAFE’s owner assisted adoption program. He remains with his owner while we help him find his next chapter.

Eager to please and keen to learn, Dusty has built quite a collection of skills. He knows sit, down, wait, heel, stay and several other commands. He is toilet trained, enjoys car rides and is described by his owner as having good house manners. Ask him to stay on his bed and he understands the assignment!

Dusty has medium energy and responds well to activities that get his brain working. A home offering regular walks, playtime and companionship would give him more opportunities to enjoy the things he loves. His owner has put considerable care into his training and wants him to have more activity than they can currently provide.

He greets people and other dogs enthusiastically, so continued support with calm greetings will help, especially when his excitement turns into jumping up. He has not lived with children and has not been tested with cats. Introductions to any resident dogs can be arranged to see how they get along.

Dusty previously found time alone difficult, but his owner reports he has become much more settled. A gradual introduction to his new home and routine will help him feel comfortable as he adjusts.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
