About Biscuit
Meet Biscuit, a gorgeous Border Collie pup with a happy heart, a clever mind and a tail that rarely stops wagging! He is one of those dogs who seems to find joy in everything—whether he’s chasing a ball, playing with his foster siblings, puzzling out where the treats are hidden or simply keeping his foster family company.
As with all working breeds, Biscuit will need ongoing training, lots of exercise and daily games that can keep his brain active.
Biscuit is bright, affectionate and full of playful energy, with a lovely eagerness to engage with the people around him. He has settled beautifully into foster life and is now ready to find a family of his very own.
Biscuit would love a home where he can be part of the family. He enjoys activity and play, but he doesn’t need to be entertained every minute of the day. Once things quieten down, he’s quite content to curl up at your feet while you work at your desk and simply enjoy being close by.
He currently shares his foster home happily with three other dogs and loves having canine friends to play and socialise with. Biscuit would suit a family who enjoys an active, engaged dog and understands that a clever pup like him thrives when his body and brain have something to do.
A secure yard with room for a game of fetch would certainly earn his approval—although be warned: once the ball comes out, Biscuit may politely appoint himself Director of Games and Recreation and remind you when he thinks it’s time for another throw!
Biscuit is a delightful mix of playful
athlete and affectionate companion. Fetch is one of his great loves, and he doesn’t just chase the ball—he watches it intently as it sails through the air, positioning himself for an impressive mid-air catch. His focus, speed and agility are wonderful to watch.
He’s equally enthusiastic about using his brain. Biscuit loves searching for food in puzzle bowls and will happily work away to find every hidden piece. He is curious, engaged and always interested in what’s happening around him.
For all that cleverness and energy, Biscuit also has a beautifully gentle side. Belly rubs are always welcome, and he loves a good head scratch or ear rub. At the end of the day, he settles happily into his crate and snuggles down for bed. He’s a social, affectionate boy who loves both canine and human company—and his cheerful nature makes him a joy to have around.
Biscuit is food-motivated, eager to please and quick to learn, which makes training with him lots of fun. He has already mastered “sit” and is ready to add plenty more skills to his repertoire.
His forever family will need to continue his training with the same positive and consistent approach he has experienced in foster care. Biscuit’s love of food and toys gives his family plenty of ways to keep training interesting and rewarding.
With his intelligence and enthusiasm, he has so much potential. More importantly, training will help build the relationship Biscuit loves most—the connection between him and his people.
Biscuit is ready for the best part of his journey: finding the people who will love him for a lifetime.
He’ll bring his toys, his wagging tail and his enormous capacity for love. You just need to bring the forever home.
Could Biscuit be the missing piece in your family? Come and meet him - you may just find your new best friend.
