Gaucho

At six years young, Gaucho is ready to start his next chapter - one where his body can take things a little easier, while his clever Kelpie brain still gets plenty to keep it busy!

Gaucho is a retired working dog with a wonderfully gentle and sweet nature. While his body is telling him it's time to slow down, his mind is still that of a young working dog, so he's looking for an active family who can help him ease gracefully into his new, more relaxed pace of life.

A home on a lifestyle block or somewhere with a bit of land to potter around would be wonderful for Gaucho. He'd love the freedom to explore and enjoy his surroundings, followed by all the creature comforts of being a much-loved house dog at the end of the day.

Kelpie or working-breed experience would be a huge bonus, as Gaucho will need a family who understands how important it is to keep his clever brain engaged, even as his physical activity becomes more moderate.

Gaucho could happily join a family with another dog and children, and he may also be able to live with a cat following careful introductions.
