Meet Furrnando!

This handsome 6 year old boy came to the shelter as a stray, and despite everything he's been through, he's shown us how lovely and affectionate he is.

Furrnando is FIV-positive, but that doesn't stop him from being a wonderful cat. He need to be kept indoors only to protect his immune system, but there's no reason why he can't still live a long, happy life. Furrnando also has a history of dental disease and has undergone a surgery in our care. His future family will need to keep up with his dental care and regular veterinary checks.

His gorgeous long coat will also need regular grooming to keep him comfortable and looking his best.

Furrnando loves attention, but he does have a sensitive side. He can become overstimulated with too much touching, so he'll do best with someone who is willing to learn his body language and respect his boundaries. He'll happily let you know when he's had enough, and giving him space when he asks for it will help him feel safe and understood.

Furrnando is a special boy who deserves a home where he can settle in at his own pace, receive plenty of love, and be appreciated for being his fabulous self.
