About 🪢 Gruff 7614 🪢
*Bonded Pair*
Gruff is a senior dachshund who still enjoys staying active and playing with his favourite toys. He is bonded with Dolly, a younger miniature dachshund, and they are looking for a home together.
Like many dachshunds, Gruff can be independent and determined. Potential adopters should be familiar with typical dachshund behaviours, including a strong prey drive, which may lead him to chase smaller animals. Because of this, Gruff is not suited to a home with cats, pocket pets, poultry, or livestock.
As a dachshund, Gruff may be predisposed to Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), and adopters should understand how to manage his health and minimise activities that could place unnecessary strain on his back.
Gruff and Dolly are a closely bonded pair and rely on each other for companionship. They are seeking a home that can provide them with ongoing care, routine, and a safe environment where they can continue to enjoy life together. If you're looking to welcome two dachshunds into your family, Gruff and Dolly could be the perfect match.
